22LR Rimfire Silhouette
Introduction
A 22LR Rimfire Silhouette Match is really fun due to the interactive targets and the instant gratification of the steel ping and the flying of a steel target.
Matches are run on a modified Small bore NRA Silhouette course. We have modified the rules to make a easy and fun Match. We make accommodations for everyone to enjoy the match. As an example Kids shoot from the bench instead of standing. You use whatever 22LR rifle you have. Single shot, bolt or lever repeater and of course Semi Auto. Open sights and RedDots are fine but most use a form of scope with adjustable turrets. All standard velocity 22LR ammunition is allowed . As well as most bulk packaged 22LR ammunition MAXIMUM VELOCITY 1260fps. No hyper velocity allowed such as Stingers or Yellow Jackets.
We use standard Range calls. If you haven’t been to an organized match all commands are explained and easy to follow.
Range and Match Safety
We follow all of the regular Sherwood Park Fish and Game Range rules. Rimfire Silhouette Matches are held on the Overflow range. The Match director or a person delegated is the Range Safety Officer.
Please do not uncase rifles until directed by the RSO or Match director.
A full safety and course of fire will be given before the start of the match.

Scoring
Scoring is the easiest part. 1 point for each target knocked of the stand. Scoring cards are provided.
The most important part is to come out and have fun.
