Participants in Fishing 101 will learn about the different kinds of fisheries in Alberta, how to identify Alberta’s sport fish species, and the various tackle used to catch them. We’ll review the Alberta Sportfishing Regulations and how to interpret the harvest limits for different fisheries.

After the presentation in the clubhouse, we’ll head down to the fish pond with fishing rods & tackle to learn hands-on fishing techniques as we try to catch some rainbow trout in our Fish Pond.
